Hello @_@ Been a long time since I've last blogged >.<" Sorry again, but I didn't get a chance to use the computer or get any inspiration till now :P
Yesterday, I was with my dad and bro when suddenly, my aunt called, saying that she was inviting us to eat at this real fancy restaurant in some fancy place for the rich people called Paragon.
As I had gone over to my dad's on the day before to study, I was wearing random shirts and pants cause I didn't really care about my appearance and I was wearing a pair o' slippers looking really informal and all, so we set off and dad said he was worried I wouldn't be allowed into the place :P
Then we reached there, and I realised " whoa, it really is big and stuff .." Everything felt so different from my everyday life, the people, the way they behave, stuff like that, and they all seemed really at home with this kinda things going on.
I wasn't.
Just standing there alone made me feel that I don't belong in such a place. It was so formal and so filled with people who are rich, I was choking there, so uncomfortable.
Then we were seated. And the people there were ok, but my aunt was saying :" wow the service here is bad " BAD ?! WHAT IS THAT ?? O_O"
I thought it was ok, sure it was a little slow, but it's alot faster than what I'm used to, and they had an excuse there, the whole place was packed with customers.
The food was really nice ^_^
My cousins were also there, and they were all grown up. I felt like a small kid around them ^_^ I wonder what their impression was of me when I was a kid. What is their impression of me now, too :P
We rarely get a chance to talk, since we only meet once every year during chinese new year ^_^" But ya, in my mind, they're always the nice caring cousins ^_^
One of'em graduated overseas and all, and when she got back she said her dream was to open a dessert shop over here.
I mean, she graduated O_O Her dream is to set up a dessert shop, which doesn't even require her graduating. And her daring to step up and reach out for her dream makes me really proud of her ^_^ To me she's like someone free from the clutches of the society, where u always studied hard so u can get a high paying job to lead a good life and stuff like that, always reaching out to get more money, but here she is, wanting nothing more than a dessert shop ^_^
I told my dad to ask her if she needed help when her starts business, because I'm really proud of her because she dared to defy everything to reach out for her dream, and he had to mention it in front of everyone yesterday while we were eating @_@
And everyone was " ohhing " and " ahhing " at me being proud of her :P Kinda gets a guy feeling embarassed duncha think.
After everything was over, I asked myself if I could make it too, if I wanted to fit into this lifestyle.
Where u are rich and stuff, and I'm really very confused, because I dun know what I want in life.
Oh well .. ^_^
We'll see we'll see ..
Take care
